Weddings can be an experience...a good one and sometimes a bad one. Much of that will depend on your attitude as the bride. Now some people might read this and think I am talking about my daughter. I can say completely that she has been pretty low key about the whole event. I guess I have been more the bridezilla but that all gets cleared up when my daughter reminds me that it is not my wedding.
These are just a few clues that you might want to wind the poison tongue back in and take a few deep breathes.
1- Your fiancé is afraid to mention the wedding in front of you. Most men will appreciate knowing the time and place to show up. Others might have a few opinions of their own. Try to be a little flexible. Remember it is his day too. Don't worry. You will be the only one wearing the wedding dress.
2- Planning a wedding takes a little flexibility. Unless you are planning years in advance dates and venues might not be available for your perfect dream wedding. The color of the table clothes you chose may no longer be in production. The dress you wanted doesn't come out for six months. You can stay steadfast to the master plan but more than likely it will cost you some days of happiness.
3. You have no time for anyone or anything else but those that center around the wedding. Everyone needs a break even those who you have blessed to be a part of your big day. Try getting together for a fun day without any pressures of wedding talk.
4- All of us can get caught up in picking and choosing items for our registry. There comes a point where you have to put the brakes on and know some things you will have to buy after the honeymoon. A good sign that you have gone overboard is when you registry totals more than the national debt.
5-You are angry at your mother all the time...........OK we will just pass on this one ....only kidding!
