My Kitchen is situated in the heart of Chelsea and is part of the My Hotel group. The hotel looks smart and is only a short walk from the likes of fashion brand Stellar McCartney and the famous wine bar Daphne’s . My kitchen is open for breakfast (for hotel guests or you could just pop in), lunches and evening meal. I dined here on a Tuesday night and found the setting to be fresh and modern. There is a sofa corner and looks as relaxing as someone’s living room. All that is missing is a plasma and Netflix!
The relaxed setting of My Kitchen
Choose an item from the grill and a suitable side. There is plenty of choice from burgers (a vegetarian one is also available – London has gone burger mad hasn’t it) to rib eye steak. I went for the steak and a side of smoked cheddar mash (quite unusual). Mains are reasonably priced with the most costly being £19.00. All sides are priced at £4.00. Some interesting sides are available such as pickled cucumbers and celeriac remouldade.

Select a drink from the reasonably priced drinks menu. The most expensive item on the drinks menu is a bottle of Palmer & Co Brut Reserve Champagne (Champagne, France) at £45.00 which we thought was good value. The cocktails looked great, Everything from Negroni to Cucumber Fizz Mojito.
Order a salad – maybe a bowl or three! There is quite an emphasis on salads at My Kitchen, in fact My Kitchen has a board named ‘Today’s Salads’ up on the wall with plenty of choice.
Choose a pudding from the pudding board. There is a good choice of different puddings from My Chelsea Mess, coconut and hazelnut cream pie and a selection of ice creams (£2.50 per scoup). I went for the dark chocolate and pear tart which was excellent.
My kitchen is an ideal restaurant if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Chelsea.
