5 things was recently privileged to stay at the four star Petersham Hotel in Richmond upon Thames and sample their fine dining menu in their restaurant.
One
Arrive and park up at the majestic and Victorian Petersham Hotel. The drive up to the Petersham is grand and you feel that you arriving somewhere special.

Explore your room and admire the view. The view from our room at The Petersham was stunning and had magnificent views of the River Thames.
Three
Go for a run around Richmond park and come back for a cup of tea on the room balcony. The gate to Richmond Park gate is close and if you run then this is perfect.

Dine in the restaurant of The Petersham. This is fine European cooking at its best. We had impressive starters such as crab lasagne and excellent mains of perfectly cooked salmon. We recommend the apricot soufflé for dessert and beef for main.

Get up early for breakfast. Traditional options are available including the obligatory cooked breakfast. We ordered the steamed haddock which was excellent. The fresh grapefruit juice was also superb.
