- Tip the lawnmower at one side and drain the old engine oil completely.
- Now, tip the mower back down, and pour the new engine oil through the oil tube. Always use good quality engine oil for your lawnmower.
- Now, check the amount of engine oil by using a dipstick. Look carefully, because it is a bit hard to see new oil on a dipstick as it is lighter in color.
Air Filters
Air filters are the thing that you probably don't think about too often. However, they are an important aspect of the motor and support it to run efficiently.
With the regular use of lawnmower in the mowing season, the air filters can become dusty and dirty, so make sure to check the filter every once in a while. Most motors' air filters are very easy to change and they are also fairly inexpensive. So, if your motors' filter starts to get dirty, it is a good idea to replace it with a new one.
