  3. Quickly wade through old papers, books, and other items lying in your cupboards and desks for years in an unattended state. If they are of no use, discard them, sell them, or just donate them. Getting rid of junk gives a fresh whiff of energy and enthusiasm to perform more housecleaning tasks. This will take around an hour to get rid of almost all junk.
  4. Check if your house is well-ventilated, airy, and sunny. Both fresh air and sunlight are essential is keeping the atmosphere of the house fresh, healthy, and fit for human stay. Fresh air is rich in oxygen which enriches the internal house atmosphere making the residents feel more energetic and zestful. Sunlight is a natural microbicide and kills many a germ in your house. Tap it effectively, and let nature’s goodness get infused into your house. Take a minute or two to open all the windows of your house and let the sunlight and breeze in.
  5. Never postpone cleaning of utensils, clothes, or discarding other waste objects in the waste bin. Doing so on a daily or weekly basis will ensure you do not accumulate the trash large enough to overwhelm you.
  6. Once you are over with the cleaning process, you may move forward with organizing your home. Make sure you place each item in its designated place and not let anything lying scattered in your house.
