Philippe Starck is a French designer. His designs are not limited to one field; he is equally talented in designing products, interiors and architecture.

His eco-friendly designs include a two-storey structure that is both wind and solar powered. The breadth of his products ranges from toothbrushes to lemon juicer that looks like something from an old science fiction film.

His most recognised furniture design range is the Outlaw series. It was inspired by Ned Kelly and the folklore surrounding outlaw and his gang.

Marc Newson

Marc Newson is an Australian furniture designer known for his futuristic and hypnotic furniture. E has worked all over the world in Tokyo, Paris and London.

He’s designed aircraft and cars, but it’s his furniture that really impresses. His designs set auction records, and he has work displayed in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

His designs are iconic, the Embryo chair, with it’s rounded edges is reminiscent of shapes that form in a Lava lamp. He was named in Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2005.

Assa Ashuach

Assa Ashuach is a London-based product and furniture designer. He is known for finding new and surreal design aesthetics for everyday products and furniture.

Assa has exhibited his designs in museums around the world. He is innovated in the field of design; his OMI light was an early example of a 3D printed product that was distributed en masse.
