Deal with the logistics
Timing is everything when it comes to weddings. If you are late for the ceremony, you will also be late for the party, and consequently for everything else scheduled for that day. Establish a precise timetable for your wedding day, but make sure you include additional 20 or 30 minutes for every scheduled to-do, for unexpected delays. It would be also good to take a test ride of each route the same day and time when the ceremony will take place.

The bride and the groom must have a grand entrance to their wedding ceremony, and the exit should be even more spectacular, too. That's why they need a special car that matches their preference and the wedding style. A classic elegant wedding definitely calls for a limo rental , but if that's not your style and you want to get creative with the wedding vibe, you can choose everything from a quirky tandem bike to a classy old-timer. Just make sure that you book your special wedding ride in advance if you plan on renting. With limos, you shouldn't have any bigger problems, but if you are renting vintage vehicles or something that is equally rare, booking it a couple of months prior to the wedding would be a smart move.
Give your guests a ride
This is not something you are obligated to do, but treating your wedding party to a ride on your special day is a nice gesture. Besides, this will also help with your wedding transportation to be a smooth ride. Even if you are not going to the ceremony with them, you can get them a separate vehicle to take them to the venue. And when the night is over and the newlyweds drive off into the sunset, this group of people can travel back to the hotel or settle in a guest shuttle home.
Don't leave your out-of-towners stranded
If you have many guests out of town arriving at your wedding, you should consider providing them with a ride from their hotel to the venue and back. This is not only for you to present yourself as a good host, but also for the sake of good organization. Imagine a bunch of guests that are not familiar with the town trying to navigate their way around. A shuttle or a charter bus that holds up to 60 passengers is usually enough, but if you have more guests out of town, you can rent two of them, or one bus can take multiple trips.
State all of your specific requests
Transportation companies cannot read your mind, and if you have some special requests regarding the guests' bus or the newlyweds' car, you should ask for that when you make the reservation. Ask your rental company if there is something that can be done about the playlist or the type of champagne that will be in the car. Also, it is important to ask about the decorations because some companies won't allow décor on the cars , while others provide their own decorations.
Properly organized transportation will ensure your wedding is working like clockwork. So make sure that every little detail is in order before you're able to relax and enjoy the smooth sailing.
