Honey and Oatmeal Facial Mask 5 Easy DIY Face Masks

Raw honey is chock full of antioxidants to help fight wrinkles and aging skin.Its also a natural antibacterial, which helps to prevent and fight acne, purifier (gently unclogs pores), and moisturizer (draws moisture into the skin and leaves skin feeling soft).

DIY: Mix one tablespoon of raw honey, 1 tablespoon of uncooked oatmeal ,grind oatmeal in a blender to a powder rather than use whole oats for a finer, gentler exfoliation. Apply to face and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Use a warm washcloth to wipe off.

Beer Facial Mask

Beer is a soothing cleanser. "It contains B vitamins, hops, saccharides, and yeast, which help dissolve dead cells and increase the skin's luminosity," says Fusco. When mixed with egg white, the yeast in the beer creates a filmy mask that hydrates and improves the elasticity of the skin. Adding a dash of lime, a source of vitamin C, helps to clear pores and fade brown spots.

DIY: Combine the egg white and beer with the lime juice. Slather onto the face. After 10 minutes, rinse with warm water.

Avocado Facial Mask

Avocados are a great antioxidant and loaded with vitamins C and E which are great for your skin You can use them to make wonderful masks that will leave your face feeling soft and hydrated. The fatty acid in them make a great moisturizer. Avocados have also been known to reduce redness and irritation as well as damaged skin cells.

DIY: Mash up the avocado really well, then add all other ingredients and mix well.Smooth the mask over your face and neck. Leave on your face for 15 minutes, the wash off with warm water.

Acai Berry has unique properties and also has the ability to enhance the skin's elasticity, they are rich sources of polyphenols-just a regular old potent antioxidant that acts as an astringent to minimize pores and wrinkles.

DIY: Mash sugar, powder, and berries together, slowly adding in the olive oil. Blend with a whisk and massage into face, leaving on for five minutes.

Yogurt, Cinnamon & Honey Facial Mask

Creating a warming effect on the skin, cinnamon brings oxygen-rich blood to the surface to stop acne-causing bacteria and emit a healthy rosy glow. Since yogurt contains probiotics and lactic acid (a component found in most chemical peels), this ingredient softly exfoliates dead skin cells, clearing up blemishes and discolorations.

DIY: Mix all three ingredients together and spread onto face. Let dry and rinse off using circular motions.
