5 "Drop Everything Now" Blogs

By Winyeemichelle

5 essential reads to stock in your blogroll. Time to share even more of my favorite online reads with you. Everybody has their 'drop everything now' blogs, right? Blogs that make you literally stop in your tracks, find a cosy nook and get reading because they're that good.
1. Ellaments of Style
I really love blogs that write about all sorts of material, from lifestyle to style, beauty to craft and more. Ella is one of the best people I've met through blogging. We chat a lot and had a whale of a time at the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards a few years back and also enjoyed a hilarious train journey to Bristol together. After that, we were pretty much married. Her blog is just one of those that I must read as soon as a post goes up!

2. Vivianna Does Makeup
A firm favorite that I've been reading even since my Uni days, Anna's blog combines beauty, skincare, makeup, health and a smattering of personality too. I really think her blog sets the scene for the editorial led sort of beauty blogging that has catalysed as of late. Innovative and informative at the same time, I'm forever perusing this one on lunch breaks and when I get in to the office a little earlier than expected.

3. City Girl's Fashion Box
Sarah is one of the bloggers that I followed, read, met and now count as one of my best pals. I mean, who else is going to call you out on texting her past her bedtime (I now schedule my late night crisis messages) and hold all your garb when you're holidaying together in Morocco? She pens City Girl's Fashion Box which is a ridiculously readable collection of beauty, skincare, lifestyle and fashion posts. Sarah is literally WAY up there when it comes to innovative content, with packing lists, how to's and challenges mixed in with super good taste in products and clothes.

4. Man Repeller
If you're already an avid blog reader, you probably already know of Leandra Medine and her quirky, captivating blog content. I think I've religiously read Man Repeller from, um, header to footer(?) several times over and still laugh out loud at the articles at least once a day. She covers catwalk trends, beauty bulletins, celebrity bumf, men and dating, health, and more, and I LOVE it.

5. Cider With Rosie
Last year I discovered Rosie's lifestyle blog and instantly bookmarked it. While her style and lifestyle is admittedly worlds apart from my own, I somehow resonate with Rosie and can't get enough of her daily posts. I even got to meet her at the Glam Mode Media birthday party last year and had a sneaky fangirl! Rosie writes recipes, beautiful photo diaries, tips for a happier outlook and much, much more. A really good breakfast read. Or elevenses. Or lunch time. Or at any given moment.
