In Asheville, North Carolina, architect Myles Alexander constructed a massive 6,000-sqaure-foot restaurant made up of 19 salvaged shipping containers. Clad in Cor-Ten steel, the three story structure lets in an abundance of light thanks to Alexander's design that involved removing the bottoms of the upper-most containers.
