Christian McCaffrey of the 49ers chosen as the Madden NFL 25 cover star
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey will be featured on the cover of "Madden NFL 25," making him the first running back since 2013 to appear on the cover. McCaffrey had a standout season in 2023, earning Offensive Player of the Year honors and being a finalist for MVP. He recently signed a two-year, $38 million extension with the 49ers. The game is set to be released on August 16. McCaffrey spent the first part of his career with the Carolina Panthers before being traded to the 49ers in 2022.
