If you observe a stubborn stain on your carpet, you can remove it using hydrogen peroxide, or “hydrogen peroxide”. This natural product is ideal for removing stubborn stains from fabrics. To do this, simply combine in a container:
- 1 teaspoon of washing up liquid
- 1 cup 3% hydrogen peroxide
After putting on your gloves, dip a sponge in this mixture. Then gently rub the stained area and blot thoroughly. Rinse the area by dabbing it with a damp cloth. Using a dry towel, wipe the cleaned area again to absorb excess water. Once your carpet has become dry, vacuum it to remove additional debris. Hydrogen peroxide can also be sprayed on the carpet alone. Just let it sit for about fifteen minutes before rinsing off with a damp towel.
Carpet cleaning is important to enjoy its shine and softness on a daily basis. Like hydrogen peroxide, other methods can be used to loosen it in depth. However, pay attention to the composition of the latter because some products can damage the fabrics.
