Sri Lanka Kabaddi Federation has selected a 36-member Kabaddi pool (18-member men’s and 18-member women’s) focusing on the upcoming Asian Games which is scheduled to be held from September 10 to 25 in Hangzhou, China.

The selection trials were held recently to pick this pool at the Torrington Sports Complex and the pool has been formed to give further training.

Sri Lanka men’s Kabaddi team won the bronze medal at the recently concluded Bangabandhu Cup Kabaddi Championships held in Dhaka and the players who took part in this tournament were mainly eligible to take part in the selections.
