Wine lovers won’t want to miss the 2nd Annual 30A Wine Festival featuring fine wines, delectable cuisine and live music all in a beautiful beach setting. The 30AEATS.com co-sponsored event benefits Children’s Volunteer Health Network. All wonderful reasons to spend a weekend at the beach!
The festival is a two-day event, March 9 & 10, 2013 in Alys Beach, which features seminars, a grand tasting, an after party on Saturday, and the addition of the Rosé & Croquet event on Sunday.
Rosé & Croquet features Rosé wines and festival attendees will be able to participate in a croquet tournament sponsored by the Alys Beach Bike Shop. Kyle LaMonica will provide entertainment for Sunday and brunch will be offered by Café Thirty-A.
Saturday, attendees will enjoy seminars from select vintners followed by the grand tasting on Kelly Green in Alys Beach. Committed wineries include Banfi Tuscany, Quintessa, Wagner Family of Wine, Ken Wright Cellars and Celani along with many others which are listed on 30AWineFestival.com. The grand tasting will be complimented by food favorites from Maestro 2300, Caliza Restaurant and Bud & Alley’s Restaurant. The presenters involved are among the country’s most celebrated wine professionals who all bring their ideas, inspirations and innovative talent to the Festival table to benefit local children in need. The Chillbillies, Knoxville’s favorite party band, will kick off the after party and get the attendees dancing the night away.
All proceeds from the event will be used for on-going operating funds to sustain Children’s Volunteer Health Network’s mission of facilitating medical, dental, vision and mental health care of local uninsured and underinsured children. Tickets are $300 and include entrance to all events throughout the weekend – expect to be impressed! This is a limited ticket event.
