Back from Stockholm! Even though it was a short trip, I had the most amazing time which was my first time in Stockholm. I’m already hooked to the city and hope to be back very soon! For now, here’s a visual diary of what I did, saw and obsessed over..
After arriving in Stockholm we (which is Jan en Martijn from schoon den boer PR, an editor from Dutch Vogue and an editor from Dutch Glamour) went straight to the Weekday Headquarters where we got a sneak peek of the gorgeous new AW14 collection from Weekday and Weekday Collection. Great prints and amazing coats, I actually wanted to wear all the men’s coats they showed and am definitely planning on visiting the men’s department more often at Weekday. Also: a very exclusive preview of a book which I can’t tell you much about yet, but definitely will later!
The trip was actually all about denim, the next morning we had a presentation with Weekday’s jeans designer Johan Langer-Tegman who told us all about the 7 days jeans collection. At the Weekday store we had breakfast with Swedish press and bloggers and learnt all about the Monday, Tuesday, etc. jeans and saw the collection that is in stores now and some of it in stores soon. I loooved the white ensemble above and definitely hope to get my hands on those white boyfriend jeans (should be in store about now or next week) and a black denim wrap skirt in the 5th picture. And since I’ve been looking for new boyfriend denim, I got the Friday men’s jeans that are a perfect, slightly stretchy boyfriend jeans that comes in about 20 different washes (!). I was definitely impressed by the Weekday jeans collection with the many different styles and washes, there’s great basics but they are really on trend as well with for instance printed denim and boxy denim jackets for this spring.
And then of course, it was Stockholm, so some shopping had to be done as well. And we stayed in the most amazing Nobis hotel. A huge thanks to Weekday and schoon den boer PR for an amazing Stockholm trip and a new obsession with Weekday denim. Check it out online here. Happy Weekend!
