3 Ways to Start Your Day on a Positive Note

Going to sleep each night and waking up in the morning to a new day with new opportunities is something each one of us have. Another day filled with power and freedom to choose. So, today we are going to talk about 3 Ways to Start Your Day on a Positive Note.

The minute we wake up is the time we can choose to get out of bed and make the most of our day or press the snooze button, roll over, pull the blankets over, and feel dread about the day ahead. This is nobody’s choice but ours.

Generally, how we start our day influences how we feel for the rest of the day. Everybody wants to make the most out of a day. And it starts the moment you wake up. Here are a few things that would help you to achieve it:

Starting off with a Positive Thought:

They say the first thought when you wake decides your day, your mood, your peace of mind. So start with a positive thought. Be thankful for such a wonderful day that you are blessed to be a part of. Say a small prayer it gives you a positive kickstart to your day and try to keep a positive vibe around you the whole day.

Nobody is perfect and you won’t be able to do this until you practice this habit every single day to reap the rewards later on.

Meditate:

Instead of pouncing straight out of bed, simply close your eyes, stretch a little or spend 5 to 10 minutes (or more as per your comfort level) meditating. Simply observe your breath. Breathe in and count to 4 or 5, allowing your belly and chest to expand, and breathe out also for a count from 4 or 5 to 0 allowing everything to drop away.

Notice how your breath enters your body, and notice how your breath leaves your body, and notice the little pause between each breath. This will allow you to have a sense of peace within and it will also help get you into a good head space before your feet touch the ground.

Make a to-do list for the day:

Get clear about your intentions for the day. For example, you can decide to have a productive day doing some extra work or by having some quality time with your family and friends with no distractions. You can decide about how you are going to spend the entire day of yours. You can decide to learn something new or be helpful to someone.

Whatever it is just be clear about what it is you want your day to be. To create, manifest, and attract that, you must first align your heart, mind, and soul with your intention. In other words, you truly need to feel it!

Now let me ask you all a question:

How do you start your day? Is it with that of gratification and happiness–or doom and gloom?? A day will be easily ruined if started by holding onto negativity and resentment. So when you wake up tomorrow, ask this question to yourself, do I want to think and act like I did yesterday, or do I choose to be a new me today??

So from this moment make a point in your mind that this is how I am going to start my day from today onwards and see how good things start happening to you and around you.
