Chutney Powder for Babies

Age: 8 months+

Ingredients:

  • Roasted Gram/ Pottukadalai – 1 cup
  • Pepper – 1/2 tsp.
  • Jeera – 1/2 tsp.
  • NOTE: Add salt for baby above 1 year

Method:

1. Dry roast all the ingredients.

2. Let them cool.

3. Grind them into a fine powder in a blender or mixer.

Carrot Chutney for Kids

Age: 8 Months+

Ingredients:

  • Chopped Carrot – 1 cup
  • Urad dal – 1 tbsp.
  • Channa dal – 1tbsp.
  • Pepper – 1/4 tsp.
  • Jeera – 1/4 tsp.
  • Ghee – 1/2 tsp.

Method:

1. Heat ghee in a pan.

2. Add urad dal, channa dal and saute.

3. Add pepper and jeera.

4. Saute till golden brown.

5. Add carrot and saute.

6. Add water, Cover and cook till it becomes soft.

Tomato Chutney for Kids

Age: 1 year +

Ingredients:

  • Oil – 1 tbsp.
  • Chopped Tomatoes –  2
  • Garlic Clove –  1
  • Chana Dal – 1 tbsp.
  • Jeera – ½ tsp.
  • Chopped Onion – 1
  • Salt
