Lately I have had a couple of fab ladies ask me for bridal inspiration for shorter hair. So today I give you just that. While most brides are frantically trying to lengthen their locks before the big day, you don’t have to look like Rapunzel to be a beautiful bride, and here are three ways to make the most of your shorter do…
1. Rock a headpiece or veil, or both. Those with shorter hair can really go to town with this one as veils and headpieces are a great way to add some fabulous femininity to your look, but your shorter locks mean we can still see your face (we like to see your face!)
2. Go bigger. I don’t mean with the hairspray but with earrings or a statement necklace. Long or large statement earrings look amazing with shorter hair or if you prefer the necklace option a bigger style wont get lost in your hair (go shorter and chunky if you have a long neck, longer and finer if you have a short neck)
3. Ask your hairdresser what your options are before the day. While you can’t expect a high bun with a pixie crop, it is amazing how talented hairdressers can make a shorter do look like a longer up do (like in the first image below) Clever huh!
