26 Suspected Internet Fraudsters Arrested by EFCC In Ibadan (Photos)

At the very least 26 suspected web fraudsters have been arrested by operatives of the Ibadan Zonal Command of the EFCC, on Friday, February 11, 2022.

One of many suspects, Babawale Daniel Olayinka even lied that he was a "Personal Assistant to the Oyo State Governor on Media Matters".

The suspects have been arrested at Soka space of Ibadan, Oyo State, over alleged web -related fraud actions.

The arrests adopted verified intelligence on their cybercrime actions.

Twenty-five of the suspects have admitted involvement in web fraud actions.

The indicted suspects are: Wale Jegede, Adekunle Solomon, Babawale Daniel Olayinka, Olanipekun Adams, Toheeb Admola, Olatunji Gbolahan, Oyowevotu Moses, Olaide Ibrahim Opeyemi, Olamilekan Rilwan, Olamilekan Akinyemi, Lekan Adenuga, Salami Segun, Lawal Samuel, Kolawole Fuad.

Others are: Olarenwaju Gbolahan, Makinde Olamiposi, Michael Timileyin, Sheriff Ololade, Adewale Dayo, Ajobola Tajudeen, Kazeem Warrees, Obinna Duru, Shotayo Sola, Mohammed Suleiman and Makinde Ajibola.

An id card was recovered from Babawale Daniel Olayinka, one of many 25 indicted web fraud suspects, introducing him as a private assistant on media issues to the Oyo State governor, Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde.

Gadgets recovered from the suspects embrace seven unique automobiles, a number of laptops, cellphones and incriminating paperwork.
