Andrew Simpson of WireDog Architecture designed an eco-friendly (and budget-friendly) New Zealand home with stirring views; he begins his advice to small space designers with this idea: "Borrowed space. When defining individual spaces be aware of opportunities to borrow perceived space from other areas and the exterior."
