Patrick Mahomes the favorite to top NFL passing yards in 2024-25 season
In 2023, Tua Tagovailoa led the NFL in passing yards with 4,624, but he is not favored to repeat that feat in the upcoming season. Patrick Mahomes is currently the favorite to lead in passing yards for the 2024-25 season. Despite only throwing on 57.4% of snaps, Tagovailoa had the most passing yards last season. Mahomes, who has already surpassed 25,000 passing yards in 83 games, is looking to improve upon his second-lowest passing yardage season with the addition of new receivers. The Chiefs offense is expected to throw the ball downfield more with the acquisitions of Marquise Brown and rookie Xavier Worthy.
