2017 Movie Watched List
Movie Watched list are always interesting to read to see what order people watch films in, over the past two years I have started doing watched lists with two different styles to talk about the over 1000 movies I had seen. This year I decided to mix it up once more. This time I will be listing the films in 10 like before and then picking just my favourites on a couple of subject’s I am picking favourites over best because sometimes the best films are difficult re-watches which is why I like the term favorite.

Favourite Film
Patriots Day
This is the best of this selection because it is easily one of the most intense thrillers of the year that is two hours that just never stops as the story only continues to grow in intensity.
Worst Film
Pitchfork
This had potential to give us a new horror icon but the film is a mess because it gets stuck between slasher and torture porn never deciding or making up its mind on which it wants to be.
Favourite Character
Katherine G Johnson – Hidden Figures
Katherine is the African American mathematical genius that must fight discrimination to play an important part with the American space mission that saw John Glenn become the first American in space.
Worst Character
Matt – Pitchfork
Matt is the asshole character you need in horror and I understand this is needed but this guy shouldn’t be on the journey because he doesn’t support the lead characters decision, cheats on his girlfriend and is a coward through and through.
Star Performance
Taraji P Henson – Hidden Figures
Taraji plays the role of Katherine G Johnson who must overcome the all discrimination to help the space mission. The performance is filled with calm moments as well as full eruptions of passion about the difference she is having to go through compared to the co-workers.
