2016 Watched List

I did a watched list last year and now I have decided to make a slight twist on it all, I will continue to do a list of the order I watched them all but I will also rank the 10 films from worst to best. So here is the list, what do you think and how do you rate this films.

This time we are looking at 31 – 40

1.   Containment

2.   Pioneer

3.   Wolfcop

4.   Pressure

5.   Child’s Play

6.   Child’s Play 2

7.   Child’s Play 3

8.   Death in the Desert

9.   The Hunting Ground

10.   Inanimate

This is how I rate these films from worst to best.

10) Pioneer

pioneer
A deep diving accident that turns into a cover up thriller that doesn’t pull us in enough.
9) Inanimate
inanimate
Basically The Thing on a boat without the tension.
8) Pressure
pressure
Deep sea following a small group of divers trapped at the bottom of the ocean.
7) Death in the Desert
desert
Crime thriller that lacks that spark to make it memorable.
6) Child’s Play 3
childs
Third installment of the Chucky franchise has fresh location but otherwise forgettable.
5) The Hunting Ground
hunting
Important documentary looking into sexually assault cases on campuses in US Colleges.
4) Wolfcop
wolfcop
Horror comedy that takes the werewolf genre in a different direction.
3) Containment
containment
Horror that finds people trapped inside an apartment building with no explanation to why.
2) Child’s Play
childs play one
The original Chucky outing that slow builds to show what Chucky is really up to.
1) Child’s Play 2
childs
I do enjoy this one more because this is fully intense Chucky on a killing spree and the final act in the factory is the most memorable scene of the three.

I am also going to try to figure out which star I have seen in the most films this year, remember I do have weekends for stars and franchises which should give certain people an advantage but here is the most watched star of 2016.

9) Alex Vincent – 2
8) Amy Ryan – 2
7) Billy Magnussen – 2
6) David Thewlis – 2
5) Michael Madsen – 2
4) James Marsden – 2
3) John Magaro – 2
2) Brad Dourif – 3
1) Terrence Howard – 3
