Mercedes unveiled their 2016 AMG GT and at first glance one can still see the Porsche 911 shape at the back. That said, the front of the car boasts the large Mercedes badge and grill making it distinctly another AMG beast. They also opted to go for 4.0 liter V8 biturbo engine, probably to save 2% on fuel, but it still churns out an impressive 344kW with 0 – 100 km/h in 4 seconds flat. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-gear dual clutch transmission will ensure the smooth gear change as only Mercedes can and the low center of gravity combined with the AMG sports suspension it guarantees exceptionally agile handling and high cornering speeds. Will this give the corner king aka Nissan GTR a run for its money? Only time will tell.
