So without further ramblings here we go with 61 – 70:
1. The Voices A likable guy pursues his office crush with the help of his evil talking pets, but things turn sinister when she stands him up for a date. A beautiful dark comedy that is very twisted
2. The Babadook A single mother, plagued by the violent death of her husband, battles with her son’s fear of a monster lurking in the house, but soon discovers a sinister presence all around her. Easily one of the best horror films of recent years.
3. Birth A young boy attempts to convince a woman that he is her dead husband reborn. A thriler that doesn’t quite deliver.
4. Jagged Edge San Francisco heiress Page Forrester is brutally murdered in her remote beach house. Her husband Jack is devastated by the crime but soon finds himself accused of her murder. He hires lawyer Teddy Barnes to defend him, despite the fact she hasn’t handled a criminal case for many years. There’s a certain chemistry between them and Teddy soon finds herself defending the man she loves. A dated thriller with heavyweight leading stars.
5. Two Night Stand A snowstorm forces two people who made an online connection to unwillingly extend their one-night stand as the blizzard goes through the night. A average rom com that doesn’t deliver.
6. Joyride Three young people on a road trip from Colorado to New Jersey talk to a trucker on their CB radio, then must escape when he turns out to be a psychotic killer. A solid thriller that never lets you breathe.
7. Hostel Three backpackers head to a Slovak city that promises to meet their hedonistic expectations, with no idea of the hell that awaits them. The new wave of psychological horror mixed with the dreaded torture porn.
8. Hostel Part II Three American college students studying abroad are lured to a Slovakian hostel, and discover the grim reality behind it. The good sequel that increases the gore and the twists.
9. Seeking a Friend for the End of the WorldAs an asteroid nears Earth, a man finds himself alone after his wife leaves in a panic. He decides to take a road trip to reunite with his high school sweetheart. Accompanying him is a neighbor who inadvertently puts a wrench in his plan. A charming comedy that asks the simply question.
10. Wyrmwood Barry is a talented mechanic and family man whose life is torn apart on the eve of a zombie apocalypse. His sister, Brooke, is kidnapped by a sinister team of gas-mask wearing soldiers & experimented on by a psychotic doctor. While Brooke plans her escape Barry goes out on the road to find her & teams up with Benny, a fellow survivor – together they must arm themselves and prepare to battle their way through hordes of flesh-eating monsters in a harsh Australian bushland. A blast of a zombie film in the Mad Max style of filming.
