I’ve been saying for years that I couldn’t wait to get married and start a little family my own – so that we could take corny holiday photos. I know, how very cliche (#basic) of me. But regardless of how cliche the idea of holiday pics may seem, I’m absolutely thrilled with how our first holiday photo session turned out, and I can’t wait to send out our Christmas cards. Considering that Christmas is right around the corner, and I still have a considerable amount of gifts to purchase, I decided to skip out on buying a new outfit for our pics, and instead chose to shop my closet for the perfect ensemble. My dress (last seen here) is actually the same one I wore for our couples shower, and I was actually glad for the chance to get a bit more wear out of it. All that was left to do was throw on a pair of trusty nude pumps, and a swipe of red lipstick and we were all set. Now, if only getting dressed were that easy every time, I’d be in a much better mood every morning.
