This year, Mary Kay was the official beauty sponsor of the ACM Awards and I could not have been more excited to spend the weekend with the wonderful Mary Kay team.

The weekend could not have been more perfect. It began by being welcomed to the most wonderful goodie bags and champagne at The Joule Hotel (this is where we all stayed). The goody bags included everything from chocolates, Mary Kay beauty products, the most gorgeous monogrammed Charlotte Max tray and so many other fun things! After rest my feet for a little, myself and all of the girls headed to Sissy’s for a yummy and wonderful souther dinner. Now, if you have not had dinner at Sissy’s I HIGHLY recommend it. It’s such a charming little spot with the best southern food. After eating way more than I should have (it’s hard to stop at Sissy’s), we all headed back to the hotel for a little beauty sleep.

After being awoken to breakfast in bed Saturday morning, we headed to the Mary Kay headquarters for a private tour and a round-table discussion. I have to say this was so much fun. First, the Mary Kay offices are just gorgeous and second I love nothing more than discussing beauty with not only the experts (the Mary Kay team) but also my peers. I mean what better place to learn new beauty tips than the Mary Kay offices with other bloggers? A dream I tell you.

Post discussions, we said farewell to the Mary Kay offices and headed to Grange Hall. Grange Hall is another favorite of mine so it was fun to eat there with all of the other girls who are not from Dallas. Grange Hall is such a charming little gem. You can not only shop and eat at Grange Hall but you can also get them to do the MOST BEAUTIFUL floral arrangements you have ever seen. After lunch we all went back to The Joule for a little r&r. Saturday night was very relaxing as Sunday (the day of the ACM Awards) would be a long day!

Hair and make-up started bright an early at ERA Salon in Dallas. Not only was the salon gorgeous, the hair and make up teams were amazing. I was so pleased with the way my overall look turned out! After a few hours of getting glam, snacking on the amazing food spread we jumped in the Mary Kay signature pink Cadillacs and headed to AT&T Stadium in Arlington for the ACM Awards! We got to sit on a platform and watch all of the cars pull up and everyone get out to walk the carpet. I would be lying if I said it was not a blast. As a group of fashion girls, we loved getting to see what everyone was wearing! From Reese Witherspoon, Sophia Vergara to Miranda Lambert the fashion was just beautiful.

When the carpet wrapped, we headed indoors for a little dinner and of course the show…and what a show it was! So many performers, it was pretty much the ultimate country concert.

Overall, the weekend was such a blast. From getting to know some amazingly talented other bloggers from all over, to spending time with the Mary Kay team, eating delicious food; it really as a weekend for the books. I cannot thank the wonderful Mary Kay team for not only educating me further on their amazing line of beauty products but giving me the opportunity to have such a wonderful experience that I will never forget. They really rolled out the red carpet for us!

p.s. I wore this Nha Khanh dress pair with these Dee Keller shoes! xx
