2014 Resolutions Mid-Year Update

By Jazmin-Jade

resolutions2

Welcome to my new year resolutions. Its a bit late, but better late than never I suppose ;)

Reading

  • I will complete my Goodreads challenge of reading 80 books this year. I am over halfway. Go me.
  • Read at least 10 adult novels. Halfway through this.
  • Read at least 5 classics. I will be fixing this one soon thanks to the classics challenge!
  • Read at least 5 different mangas/graphic novels. I have read mangas. Im just using them for a different challenge so it still sorta counts…
  • Read at least 10 books that have been turned into movies/series, watch their movie/series counter parts, and review them both.  Halfway through.
  • Read at least 10 books that have been on my TBR shelf for more than a year. None… I need to pay more attention to my TBR shelf.
  • Debut Author Challenge: Reading at least 12 books by a debut author. I have barely touched this… I need to pay more attention to the new authors.
  • Reread at least 3 books. I really don’t need to hurry this.
  • Read things I feel I will enjoy rather than feel might be ok. I still do this sometimes. I find it hard to say no when I get asked to review a book.
  • Only read one NetGalley book at a time. Im sticking to this! I want my stats to be good.
  • Read at least 5 books that fall into genres that I do not normally read. I am one book away from completing this!

Blogging

  • Update the look of the blog.
  • Toy around with better names for the blog.
  • Participate in more challenges/memes/tags. I actually do this one!
  • Be more active in our book blogging/vlogging community. This one too :)
  • From this day forth, I will put up a post every three days! I try, I really, really do. Work sucks.
