Through the month of January I will be looking back on 2014, I will be looking at a range of subjects where I will be picking my best or worst in separate posts.
Today I will be look at Popcorn Film of the Year. I have enjoyed a lot of films this year and this was hard to pick just the five here.

The Raid 2
In what was one of the best action films you could ever see, this film is full of pulse-pounding action that will leave you breathless by the end.

22 Jump Street
While it is very rare for me to enjoy a comedy this much, this one satisfied all my need in the comedy genre with nearly a laugh a minute.
Interstellar
This was number one on my anticipation list at the start of the year and didn’t let me down, it was one of the best sci-fi films ever made on an intelligence level.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
I did think this would be good but nothing prepared me for a film of this standard, that shows how much two sides don’t want to have war.

Guardians of the Galaxy
In a year of Blockbuster films that seemed to come from many angles this one was one that many were looking forward to seeing but I don’t think many people were thinking this could be the most fun comic book adaptation every made.
