2014: A Year in Food Blogging

By Natalie Tamara @thetofudiaries

Do you keep note of the recipes you create or test out? One of the best things about keeping this blog is that it documents all the dishes I’ve created that otherwise would be long forgotten about since I have never written any down before. Looking back over all of my recipes from the past year, there are so many that I want to revisit now and I hope you will all feel similarly inspired.

So, without further ado, here are the ten most popular foodie posts on The Tofu Diaries from 2014:

10. Wholemeal Quinoa Apple Crumble

This was my first ever recipe post and really my first proper post so it’s lovely to be able to include it in this post.

4. Fudgy Beetroot Brownies

This recipe was proof that I don’t bake often enough… these brownies even made their way into print!

3. Mininibs Review & Giveaway

This post was my first ever giveaway on the blog! Thanks to everyone who entered – I have a different one in the pipeline very soon and can’t wait to launch it to give you the chance to win another treat.

2. Spiced Spinach & Red Onion Quinoa Medallions (with Oriental Slaw & Baked Sweet Potato Chips)

As well as being one of the most viewed recipes I’ve blogged this post made its way, much to my surprise, into November’s Morrisons Mag.

1. Sweet Potato & 3-Bean Slow Cooker Paprikash

Vegan Slow Cooker 3-Bean Paprikash
This was my most viewed post of the year – in fact all of my posts with the highest views were recipes. Made with paprika picked up on a trip to Budapest and packed full of various types of beans, this vegan paprikash is a perfect dish to revisit now we are in the midst of winter.

You can also see my travel highlights of the past year that I blogged about recently.

What posts do you enjoy reading here most? I really appreciate any feedback so let me know in the comments!
