reading | new toy | healthy lunch | mmm raspberriessunset | frog | rainy day | shirtHi! Little later than usual this week as I've been out all day on set and then I had a surprise visit from my boyfriend.
As Andy ordered himself a new phone, he gave me his Galaxy Note. It's taken some getting used to, it's bigger than my HTC but I think I've just about got the hang of it. Is it sad that I like having a front facing camera to take photos of silly expressions to send to him? Yes..it probably is. Oh well.I finished reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, which pleased Andy as it meant we could finally watch the films together. I'd refused to watch them until I read the book and we've now seen the Swedish original and the remake with Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara. Onto the next book I go...Now I think about it, we've watched quite a lot lately. On Friday night we went to see Only God Forgives. I don't think it was what we expected but I still enjoyed it although it was very violent. The cinematography is brilliant; the scenes were so well lit and the use of color was really well implemented. It made Thailand look amazing.
We watched Mr Nobody at the weekend and I really, really recommend it. Another beautifully shot movie and Jared Leto is absolutely brilliant. I got really into the narrative and it was really moving. I want to watch it again already.We went for a walk the other night, to try and get some photos of the sunset. It turned out that we'd left the house too late (who knew the sun went down before 9 now?!) and it started to rain so we didn't get many photos although I did find a tiny baby frog then later when we went to Andy's, he spotted a bigger one outside his house!Yesterday I got a really exciting phone call telling me I have a job interview. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it goes really well as I'd love to get it!
