fab in the park | locked out with Roxy | pretty sunsetmessy natural hair | Lush goodies | gig timesuper impressed by this guy | The Lake Poets | YAAAAAAY!Hi! It's been a pretty chilled week I guess. I caught up with one of my friends from uni and we decided to go sit in the park and have ice lollies. Given the choice of any lolly, I'll pick a Fab. Twisters used to be my favorite but I had one last year maybe and it wasn't as big as I'd remembered them being. Maybe my hands are bigger now too though? I don't know. I managed to forget my key and be locked out for nearly an hour after some work on Wednesday. I felt like such a fool sitting on the driveway waiting for my sister to return from the gym or my Mam to get home from work. Roxy seemed pretty keen to see me until she realised I wasn't able to let her in the house and went wandering off.I've been embracing my (messy) natural hair this week since it's been too warm for me to bother using the hairdryer and straighteners. I think it's probably preferring this break from unnecessary heat and it allows me to get dressed so much quicker. Win win!The Sunday before last I visited LUSH and I've got my post up here about what I did in store. I had a great time and the staff were so lovely. I always enjoy attending little things I've been invited to and this weekend I'm going for a little train ride up to see the lovely Amy for a BBQ so fingers crossed the sun returns! On Friday I was blown away by The Lake Poets and I wrote a review you can read here. Sam Fender, the opening support was amazing too and had such an incredible voice. I can't stress enough that you check out The Lake Poets (and expect me to mention them again soon in an upcoming post)As always, I spent the weekend with Andy. We've been to see Pacific Rim and The World's End and I recommend them both, I really enjoyed Pacific Rim, more than I expected I would and The World's End was funny and a really good end to The Cornetto Trilogy. He helped me with driving theory revision over the week and took me to the test center yesterday then waited around for me until I finished, how sweet! I passed by the way and couldn't wait to get home to tell my parents and sister, who had no idea I was taking the test as Andy was the only one I'd mentioned it to, ha!
