2013 TOP 5 Music albums naayak swamy ra ra atharintiki daredi baadshah mirchi 2013 TOP 5: Music Albums

Atharintiki Daredi/Mirchi

Devi Sri Prasad once again managed to give the album of year with two albums that tie for the top spot. Both Mirchi released early in the year and Atharintiki Daredi released later in the year ruled the charts till long after the exit of the film. One could still hear a couple of songs from these albums randomly anywhere showcasing the popularity of the album. Musically too these two albums are among the very freshly packaged one’s coming from the stale factory of DSP.

Baadshah

SS Thaman continued to give hit albums once again in this year like he has been for the past couple of years. The best of the year from the music director was of course the Srinu Vytla directed Jr NTR starrer Baadshah. Most of the albums from Thaman end there shelf life once the film’s run come to an end. This has been different. Couple of numbers from this album, are sure going to rock this new years party’s all over AP.

Greekuveerudu

Another album from SS Thaman that has stayed in our mind from the time of its release it’s the Nagarjuna starrer Greekuveerudu. The music director seems to have a special liking for Akkineni Nagarjuna as he has in the past too given a superb album for the actor.

Swamy Ra Ra

Fantastic debut by Sunny MR in Telugu with Swamy Ra Ra. The sound was cutting edge, the songs were instantly likable, what more could a small film like Swamy Ra Ra have asked for. It’s a dream album for any small film and it has been very well appreciated by the audience and music lovers.

Naayak

This is another SS Thaman album that did its job prior to the release of the film. Two melodies and the mass number ‘Hey Naayak’ sung by Shreya Ghosal still have some repeatability left but somehow none sound fresh in the same that they did during the running of the film.
