Even-strength grade relates how well a player plays at even-strength. The higher the grade, the better a player played. This calculation is a measurement of how many successful plays a player makes in relation to all of the plays they engaged in. Grades also take into account goals, assists, traditional plus/minus, and shots on goal.

Three of the free-agents shown here produced above-average grades. They were Zach Parise, Torrey Mitchell, and Zenon Konopka.
