Holi is a festival that is celebrated all over India during the month of April. It is a spring celebration, full of color and joy. But sometimes, it can be hard to get your kids excited about Holi when they’re not old enough to fully appreciate it.

We know that most kids are into games. As parents, we tend to be sceptical about the age-appropriateness of these games. But how can you deny the great fun and excitement children get out of playing these fun games? Do you know that in some parts of India, people play a lot of games during Holi? Here are some interesting games that can be played by kids.

1. Bucket Blast – Family Holi Game

This interesting game from Popxo, involves getting all wet! Participants have to carry a mug with holes at the base over his/her head and fill the bucket within the allotted time frame. Whoever fills the bucket first is the winner.

2. Lucky Water Balloon Game

This game from Kitty Groups online is very interesting and you need to blow many water balloons almost same as the number of guests you are expecting. Out of those hundreds of balloons you will put coins in 5 balloons. Now keep all the water balloons in many big tubs all around the ground and ask everyone to pic one balloon. When the host blows the whistle, everyone will break the water balloon against his or her forehead. The lucky ones getting the coins out of the balloon will be the winner. Make sure you use some small coin which is not easily visible in the colored water balloons.
