I love the look of the 1920s Flapper Style of fashion icons Joan Crawford, Anita Page and Clara Bow with their glamorous images of party girls who broke all the traditional fashion rules. How dare them to wear bold obvious makeup, cut their hair in bobs and wear short skirts ( look how far we have come)! We have Coco Chanel to thank for entering the fashion world with her loose shift dresses, blouses, evening coats and that Little Black Dress, a fashion staple that every one of us should own. Designer Jean Patau designed the romantic fashions embellished with fine lace, embroidery and the lavish use of beads. Cloche hats were all the rage as where the beautiful Flapper headpieces decorated with embroidery, beads and feathers that were worn to keep hair out of the eyes while dancing. Now that you have your history lesson for the day :) tell me what you think about the 1920s Flapper Style and its comeback!
