George Crady Fishing Pier State Park
Just 8 miles from Fernandina Beach, the George Crady Fishing Pier is a fun place to go fishing. The one-mile long pedestrian pier has plenty of places to pitch a pole and relax while you wait for the fish to bite. It does get busy, so if you prefer solitude, choose one of the other great spots on Amelia Island.
Fort Clinch State Park
Fort Clinch State Park has a lot to explore, including great fishing. A firm favourite with many visitors and locals is the half-mile pier. It's the perfect place to prop up your pole and enjoy the scenery. There are also some tours available in the area.

Located in Amelia Island State Park, the Timucuan Trail is the perfect coastal cycling experience. The 6.3 miles out and back route takes you past salt marshes, sandy beaches and maritime canopies that will leave you in awe. Make your way over the bridge into Big Talbot Island State Park before heading back.
The Amelia Island Trail
This trail stretches from Peter's Point Beachfront Park to Amelia Island State Park. The 7-mile route offers you stunning views and historic architecture on your way. To make this the perfect day activity, stop at one of the local restaurants on the way for a delicious meal.

Little Talbot Island Hiking Trail
This 3.5-mile loop is perfect for every level of hiker. The loop takes you over majestic dunes and past idyllic wildflowers. It's a popular spot, so if you're looking for solitude, you won't find it here.
Fernandina Beach Walk

Egans Creek Greenway
This 5.5-mile loop is accessible all year round. This trail is less busy than the others and allows you to appreciate how unique this part of Florida is. The path is easy to hike, making it the perfect family activity.

Hang Gliding
