How to Chill Out in The Heat-a Cooling and Invigorating Recipe
If you wonder how to cope with the summer heat in the hottest months of the season here is my suggestion.
This recipe is excellent for the unbearable summer heat in July and August. I know it from a friend of mine who is a cook and has a restaurant-so she makes the juice I am going to offer you there.
This miraculous juice is called "Lemonade Tornado" because it takes the unease and heat away. Here is what you need in order to prepare it:
Ingredients for about 2.5 liters of lemonade
(Amounts are approximate, you can adjust according to your preference)
5-6 lemons
1 handful of brown sugar crystals or other brown sugar
3-4 sprigs fresh mint
2 sachets of green tea
Preparation
Pour one cup water in small saucepan and drop in a handful of brown sugar crystals. Leave on low heat until the crystals dissolve in water, then remove from heat.
Make a strong infusion of nine bags of green tea with a large glass of water and allow tea to cool.
Squeeze lemon juice and mix it with 2 liters of water (You can use baking soda instead of sparkling water if you like).
Mix the lemon water with sugar water and green tea and mint stems run. Pour lemonade into a glass jar or bottle and let it cool in the refrigerator.
These are the exact ingredients and the way of preparation because I wrote down the recipe in my cooking book. Enjoy!
