At the same time, it's crucial that you are paying your employees fairly. Most of the time, you're going to be forced to. Because there are laws about what you can pay people and what the minimum wages should be. So maybe you need to hire a PR firm or consultant so that you're able to not only understand your image, but start to shape it a little more too.

Next, another key area that you should not overlook here, is your social responsibilities. Because you need to be aware of how you're having an impact in the world and what kind of contribution you're making. If you're not doing good in the world, then it might be time to start. So give back. Be aware of your impact on the environment. Make a difference. Don't just bury your head.

And finally, you then have to think about your finances and what you need to be doing legally with your accounting. Because it's one thing to want to make a profit, but another to do so in a negative or distrustful way. So be transparent here. Publish your financial records as you should and make sure that you're holding your company financial responsible.

So there you have it. As you can see from this list, there are a lot of areas that you will need to be not only aware of, but on top of too. You'll want to make sure that you are considering each area and its relevance to your business - then mastering it. When you're able to control how your business is seen, targeted, and how well you are prepared, you should find that you're in a great place.
