12 Ways to Get Things for Free This Month

Since this February is No Buy Month, I thought I’d share so great ways to get stuff with out spending any money! Here’ 12 ways to get Things for free this month.

1. Use Your Points – You know that credit card you keep using with all of those points? Redeem them. Now. Most credit cards with redeemable points allow you to use some of the points to pay your bill. Others, will offer gift cards to grocery stores or places like Amazon. Use that free money to buy toiletries, pet food and non-perishable groceries this month.

2. Sell Your Clutter – Use eBay.com, Craigslist.com or a good ‘ol fashioned garage sale to sell what you already own. Use the proceeds to buy your groceries or treat yourself to a movie!.

3. Swap Your Stuff – Go to clothes swaps or checkout Craigslist.com or freecycle.com and find ways to swap your junk for someone else’s treasure!

4. Skype Your Calls – Sign up for Skype (for free) and use the service to call friends and family signed up with the same service and it’s free! Also, check out Gtalk from Google. All domestic calls are free, you can generate a phone number and use it to send/recieve text messages and you can even download a Google Phone App on your cell phone to save on your cell phone calls!

5. Send/Recieve Free Text Messages – Download a free app like WhatsApp.com and like Skype, anyone else who signs up and uses the app you can text for free.

6. Free Yoga Classes – If you like to do yoga, but don’t want to pay a hefty monthly membership free, check out Do Yoga With Me.com It’s an online series of classes that have various forms of yoga, for multiple levels, all taught by professional yoga teachers.

7. Get Free MakeupSephora.com allows all of its customers to get samples of anything is the store. So if you’re low on foundation, or, maybe just want to try a few new lipsticks, go on down to Sephora and start shopping!

8. Go to the Museum – At least once a week or month you can visit your local museum on a free day. If it’s not listed as free, it’s often listed as “pay what you wish”.

9. Watch Free Movies – Believe it or not, many of the latest movie releases can be found at your local library. Check them out! (pun intended)

10. Get a free education - MIT offers a large portion of their undergrad and grad curriculum for free. You can download materials and study at your leisure. The only you can’t do is get an actual degree. For more information check out this link.

11. Free photosKodak.com, Snapfish.com, Dotphoto.com and Adorama.com all will give you you up to 50 free prints just for sigining up!

12. Books for Free – Similiar to freestyle.com, sites like Paperbackswap.com and TitleTrader.com let you swap out tomes you no longer want for books others no longer want or need.
