Hand sanitizers have become a very popular item lately, but you should also make sure you get one that does the job and Not Leave a hard smell on your skin.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the leading public health organization in the United States, recommends washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds to best protect yourself against germs. The next best thing, if you don't have soap and water, is an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. However, the CDC notes that hand disinfectants do not eliminate all germs, but in some situations can quickly reduce the number of microbes on the hands.
