What is your favorite Christmas  movie or song? Since I posted two of my favorite songs yesterday to give that post a little something extra for you all, I will focus on my favorite Christmas movie.

Jeesh, these prompts are making me choose TOO many favorites. It is WAY too hard for me to choose just one. So, obviously, you all know I am going to choose a few movies haha. To kick off our movie list, I will start with a comedy… Christmas Vacation.

If you haven’t seen this movie, yet, (*cough* DAVID) it should be at the top of your list right now! This movie covers all the bases when it comes to describing what it is like to have family over for the holidays. Every emotion is covered with this movie. Plus, we all have that one weirdo in the family that just doesn’t quite understand social rules and cues. Why not laugh about it?

Next up is The Santa Clause. I hope this goes without saying, but The Santa Clause is one of the best movies ever to bless this world during the Christmas season. I think Tim Allen is hilarious, the plot is one of the most original plots to a Christmas movie… ever, and it reminds children and adults to always believe in Santa. How sweet is that?

I said a “few,” so I will keep it to three. My third favorite Christmas movie is obviously Love Actually. Now, I bet most of you were expecting me to say Elf or A Christmas Story, but those movies annoy me after a while for some reason. The other three are movies I could watch over and over and over without growing tired of them.

Love Actually is one of the best movies ever made, in my opinion. I think it is a bonus that the movie is based around Christmas. What I love so much about this movie is how just about every aspect of love is addressed. Like Christmas Vacation, Love Actually covers every emotion. I believe this movie does it much more eloquently, though. The movie reminds us how love is all around and to love who you love no matter what. Go get them even if they may say no. At least you can say you tried. Love will always be present, especially during the holidays.

Gosh, I knew it would be hard to focus on just three because I adore the classics, too. Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown… the whole gang! Thankfully, we have 25+ days in December to indulge on our favorite Christmas movies. I am grateful to have the ability to do that each year.
