I was nominated by the gorgeous Christy from Christy Marie and given the task of answering questions about myself that Christy had written. -How long have you been blogging and what inspired you to start?
I've been blogging for about 6 years now. I re branded this past December and was so excited to put blogging as more a priority even though my life has drastically changed in the last 6 years with getting married, having a baby, moving across country and buying a house.
-What is your favorite color and why?
My favorite color is blue. I love any shade really and it just seems to be a soothing color.
-What is a current trend that you just can’t get on board with?
Saying the word "bae".. umm just why?!
-What is your favorite trip you’ve ever taken?
I took a month trip to Europe with my sister 4 years. I'll have to re document it all for you someday since it's apart of my old blog and none of those posts made it onto my new one. But we traveled to 9 different countries together, and made us more aware of ourselves and us as siblings. I wrote a post about the importance of traveling with your sister here.
-If you had to pick a theme song for your current stage in life, what would it be?
Time of your life. I love the song and lyrics in general and just realize how lucky my life has been with such great friends, family members and our new home state.
-Do you consider yourself to be critical thinking or creativity inspired? How does it effect how you blog?
I tend to be both. I get inspired by blogs I enjoy reading, their pictures and what makes them, them. I tend to be critical
-What is something that can always cheer you up on a gloomy day?
Hugs from my sweet two year old toddler, Lily! And of course my husband, Zach.
-If you were given $1,000,000.00 dollars at 8 am with the precedent that anything unspent by midnight had to be returned, how would you spend the day?
Wow this is a tough question! I'd love to just take a huge trip around the world but since that takes time and I only have a day, I'd treat everyone my family members to a huge spa/shopping day ( cars, clothes, houses..you name it! )
-Favorite quote?
The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. It's actually on the back of my iPhone cover case I made.
-What is one thing that is just outside your comfort zone, but that you’ve always wanted to do?
I wish I enjoyed roller coasters but I almost throw up on them. I've always wanted to attempt sky diving even though I feel like I would pass out the second we stepped off the plane.
-Would you rather get dressed up and go to or stay home in your pajamas?
I've become such a big homebody after having my daughter so I love staying in, watching movies and cuddling with my husband, daughter and fur kitty Ellie. Grab the popcorn!
11 Random Facts About Me- I eat twizzlers on a weekly basis ( if I said daily my mother would kill me so... ;) )- I have to sleep with the covers around my shoulders at all times
- I'm an early bird
- My favorite thing to do on weekends is clean ( no joke ), read or enjoy a good cup of coffee
- I've re-read Harry Potter for the last 19 years and it still gets better each and every time.
- I wish someone could come decorate my house like Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper
- I love taking photographs

- My first kiss was at 17
