Utility zip detail jacket, Warehouse; Lilac ‘Daisy’ slogan T-shirt, Topshop; Embroidered cigarette leg jeans, 7 For All Mankind; Grey suede Converse; Longchamp Le Pliage.
After my spiel about how Topshop hadn't really been doing it for me, I tripped and fell and seriously injured my bank balance. A mere glance at their New In section left me with this pretty Daisy slogan tee. I mean, it just had to be done; equal parts Christopher Kane and Daisybutter, the bold lettering and lilac colouring stole my heart.
I already can't wait to team my new tee with little skirts, boyfriend jeans, co-ord short and jacket sets, culottes (oh yeah, I went there) and my kitty flatforms, but first, I did it with my utility jacket, patterned jeans and Converse for a concert I went to at the weekend. I spoke a bit about these jeans last week as well as back when I worked with 7FAM last summer, but I’m so pleased they’re getting somewhat of a SS14 revival. They’re seriously comfortable and I’m fairly tempted to splurge on a pair of more ‘everyday’ jeans by Seven! And can we just take a moment to appreciate these suede Converse? So darn comfy and a nice luxe update from the usual Chucks.
I’m nearly up to date on Game of Thrones now - only like a billion years late. Some of my colleagues at work were insistent that I watch it, so I prepared my eyes, an armful of snacks and chain-watched ‘em all. Bring on next Monday! To commemorate, I bought the books over the weekend, fell into H&M and came out with bags full of goods (you’ll probs see those soon) and got Thai food with the sis. I also went to see B.A.P - one of my favorite bands - live at their first concert in London at Brixton Academy. They were SO good and I'm currently suffering from post-concert depression of course. My favourites from the set were probably One Shot, No Mercy, Dancing in the Rain and Check On, although it was really well-rounded and if you asked me again I'd pick the entire set. A darn good weekend.
