I have been looking for a mascara without parabens, pthalates, aluminum, cadmium (or half of the periodic table)mascara for awhile now. But most either irritated my contacts or ran off my face before I’d even made it out the door. I have reviewed other 100 percent pure products and I like their brands, so I thought I’d try the mascara.

First of all. This stuff SMELLS AMAZING! It doesn’t seem to have a fragrance, and I can’t put my finger on it, but it smells yummy! The other thing I like about this product is that it doesn’t bother my contact lenses! My eyes are really sensitive and I’m on a computer all day working so the last thing I need is something irritating my already sensitive eyes. This product is not waterproof and after about 4 hours it did run a bit, but I didn’t look like had I dark circles under my eyes, so I counted that as a win. 😉 The color I used, “Black Tea” was actually made from tea leaves and is a true black. A little goes a long way too! I wish it was a bit cheaper, but since I only buy mascara like twice a year, I will probably buy it again.

RATING: 4 Smart!* – Great product, great ingredients, multi-use, but a little high-priced and no samples.
