10 Ways to Really Screw Up Your Blog – Are You Guilty of Any?
There are now over 76 million blogs hosted on WordPress alone today. How can you be sure your blog gets seen among these millions of other blogs? Here are 10 things NOT to do when you are blogging today. These 10 ways to really screw up your blog – be sure you are not guilty of all 10 or more than 1. Looking through these tips I see blogging off topic. I think that is probably the most common mistake many bloggers make, which do you believe is the most common blogging mistake?
I think most of you here reading this are aware of #1 – not to copy other blogs. That is such a no-no!
The one blogging mistake I see missing here is linking to poor content. You may remember my Google penalty post from bad links and follow links. I since changed most of my links to no follow. Sylvianne Nuccio also did a post about 8 things you should NOT do on your blog posts. She makes another 8 different things in her post NOT to do. By learning what not to do you can avoid the 10 ways to really screw up your blog.
If you are not doing any of these 10 ways to really screw up your blog today – did you do anyof them when you first started to blog? Have you been able to go back to your old posts and correct them? I had done a cleaning of old posts almost a year ago. It’s a good idea to go back and look over some olds posts once in a while and refresh them. Google will love you for it too!
