10 Ways to Eliminate The Sources of Stress From Your Life
0You often see articles on ways tounwind and relax after a stressful day, which I always find useful, but for me the most important advice would be to get to the source of the problem, and cut stress out before it even happens.
By careful editing of your life, and changing certain habits, you can eliminate the sources of stress from your life. Of course you cannot eliminate all of them but those sources of stress that can be controlled by your behavior can and should be eliminated.
So the key to combating stress is not doing more to fix the situation which brings you discomfort , but a willingness to work less on fixing them. Some moves you make in stressful situations, only aggravate that situation and when you resort to such behavior you are actually adding fuel to the fire. In stressful situations when you are pressured by your internal concerns, you will make it easier for yourself by changing these 10 habits:
1)
Get rid of the need to satisfy others.
2)
Stop justifying yourself. Your enemies won”t believe you and your friends won”t need it.
3)
Try to control your urge to react immediately, because some things can and should wait
4)
If you feel like it, allow yourself to be unavailable for others. It’s OK to sometimes reject an invitation to hang out.
5)
Stop believing that you need just that one thing which you do not have, in order to be happy and successful. It cannot be true that there is just one thing whose power is so great that it decides your faith There’s always a second choice you just need to figure it out
6)
Control your desire to show off. There are people who will see you as you really are, and you don’t have to prove yourself to them. These are the people you need to hang out more with!
7)
Stop trying to be accepted by everybody. You will never succeed to be accept by everyone and that’s fine. Your job simply is to accept this fact.
8)
Remember that you do not need to know every detail. Life sometimes works in mysterious ways
9)
Discard the idea that you have to be perfect. Mistakes happen to everyone. It’s also OK for someone to be a witness of your mistakes.
10)
Do not cause yourself additional stress by considering yourself responsible for all the people in your environment. Start believing that the merciful universal force of love and justice, will help them Providing support and assistance to others is wonderful, but when it starts to cause stress, it’s time to leave it to run its own course
