Not surprising given the cinematic tale of her upbringing (which you can read here), Zoe Boekbinder’s (@zoeboekbinder) music is a whimsical journey through delicate instrumentation and tightly wound melodies. Layering brass, strings, background vocals and acoustic guitar, she weaves punctuated stories that are, to put it simply, delightful. Boekbinder has clearly incorporated the excitement and constant variety of her previous cross-country, nomadic lifestyle into her music.
