York & Albany Wedding Photography

I often feel so lucky that we travel so much for our jobs. Whilst sometimes during the summer, it can seem like we are in our car as much as in our office – traveling also means that we get to photograph amazing weddings all over the country like Carl & Siobhan’s York & Albany wedding right in the heart of London. With a ceremony at Islington Town Hall, everything about Siobhan & Carl’s big day was all about effortless city style and fun. Siobhan and her bridesmaids got themselves ready in the loft at York & Albany – a Gordon Ramsay Restaurant she and Carl used to frequent when they began dating. After an excited taxi journey to the town hall (including a few extra laps around the block because Siobhan was so organised she was early) she was walking up the aisle to a very happy and very excited Carl.

After some photos and confetti on the steps of the Town Hall we whisked back to the York & Albany for some couples photos and the party really kicked off. After some seriously gorgeous food (what guest doesn’t want Gordon Ramsay style wedding food?!?) we ducked out for some sunset photos next to Carl’s newly restored Jaguar E Type. What an absolute dream car! With all the loving touches put into restoring those wheels – it only seemed appropriate that it featured in some of my favorite photos of the day.

The day ended with a good wiggle on the dance floor including some dance floor confetti canons and when we wrapped up it looked like everyone was still going to be throwing shapes until the wee hours of the morning.
