Julius Echter Hefe-Weiss is Würzburger Hofbräu’s Bavarian-style wheat ale.

Appearance:  Heavy haze (not quite cloudy) peachy blonde, white head, great retention.

Aroma:  Light clove, dried bananas, spicy with light citrus notes.

Overall Impression: This one is on the drier spectrum for a weissbier with a slightly lighter mouthfeel than comparable beers.  It’s very balanced with a nice level of carbonation typical of style.  This is excellent option if you’re looking for a drier, spicier hefeweizen.

Availability: In stores that carry German beers, imported by St. Killian Importing

5.3% ABV
